If you missed our show, you should feel bad because YOU MISSED MANET! (clap, clap, clap clap clap)
That’s right, folks: Los Bastardos rolls with the punches and when our original Janet couldn’t perform, we made do with what we had. Specifically, Gus stepped in as Janet and in his place as Brad was Johnny Fuckin’ Felder! We don’t do legit drag shows too often, and Manet is a rare “treat.” Maybe treat isn’t the right word, but “cackling horror” didn’t roll off the fingers as well. Take it from someone who had to be on stage with him; it’s almost impossible to keep a straight face watching.
That’s just how it goes, though. The show must go on. No matter if your Janet is a dude, or if the gong mallet breaks, or if your Riff doesn’t work his fall at the end of Time Warp and knocks the wind out of himself like an old fat fuck.
What a crowd, too! Our Dallas fans love to wait to wait until the last minute to utterly mob our show, giving us all heart attacks. What they may lack in punctuality they make up for it in enthusiasm. From the amazing, roof-raising virgin game on they were at a fever pitch all night.
You never know what you’re gonna see at a Los Bastardos show! Pictures will be up later, but nothing beats seeing it live! BE THERE MAY 21!

Rocky- Fleep

Man oh man what a show this was. It was our baby show, and by that I mean that we had some new members make their debut this night. Let me tell you one thing I love seeing is new members go all out to make a performance worth watching and bringing the crowd in to a frenzy.
As we begin the night I always love walking into the ridglea because I just feel like the theater is just made for us and used to put on our awesome rocky performance. So we packed it like we always do and brought the crowd into a dancing frenzy(thats you guys who are reading this) and that just makes my night right there.
Once we got everyone settled in and started we had the chance to announce that ace and javier were our new performers that night and man oh man seeing their faces was priceless. These guys have trained hard for the parts and man oh man did it show. We brought in the house with some bitchin music and the performance was under way.
Opening dance for the start of the show was filled with all who were pumped and the start of floorwalking was on point, there were laughs and screams for all the sexy people and just damn was it good. Once the singing bit was over we get to our wedding scene with everyone and man oh man the pics from that, lol. After all the pics were had and the movie actually gets going we see mason and jessi bring in damnit janet with all the acting prowess of those two. Next is car scene and that is always fun to see which brad and janet handle the scene because a lot of them have their own little take which makes it funny. THEN AND JUST THEN when car scene is over we see our new guy ace start coming down on the bike which was awesome because Ive been wanting to see him do this for a while.

We move over to coming up to the mansion and see our boy Gus playing the ever creepy riff and damn does he do a good job of it, I mean I like the guy and were friends but damn does he do the job of making my dick shrink when I see him as riff. We step over farther into the movie and see that our lovely manda is playing maggie and all I have to say is GOD DAMN THAT HOTNESS. OMG now its time for time warp, the whole audience was elated and just going nuts to dance to this, I loved it and so did everyone else. As we make our way to the last part of the song we see ali in all of her tallness spinning around like a sparkly spin top which will catch anyones eye.
Now its time for some franky action and that action is brought to you by the new franky which is javier. Seeing the excitement of the crowd for him makes first rocky moments the best. The kid put in a good time of effort and training to step in those heels and damn did he step the fuck out of those heels! The women went fucking nuts almost to the point to where I had to step in and stop someone from going up their to him but lets face it I probably wouldnt have stopped them because everyone loves attention. After the scene concluded there is some naked stuff happening and some dialogue things I kinda forgot ummmmmmmm oh yeah we get to rocky which is our beloved fleep that dude is just everywhere sometimes and I think to myself was I ever that way which leads to some internal crisis I have sometimes with myself and what I do with my life and………………sorry about that got a little off track. Fleep is really wirey(its a word) hes a little ball of energy that cant be contained, seeing him and javier run around makes me giggle.
Now is one of my favorite moments to announce my main man ACE makes his debut on one of the coolest stages that we perform at and he just brought everyone in for eddie way better than I did on my first try. He was nailing all the moves and singing to where you could hear him in the crowd so holy shit he killed it. Then the lift came into play and with him putting the right moves down and ali giving it her all we had a great lift seeing those legs go up was awesome! So im proud of my boy ace and what hes accomplished in the time he trained for it, great job buddy. Once that was said and done I started to think I wanted pancakes or french toast for food because I got hungry like I always do. So Im going to skip a few moments because playing under the sheets only leaves me some satisfaction. We now make it to the second tank scene and have our joe come in for dr scott. He said somethings and the others said some things all I was paying attention to was manda’s huge….talent she has. We kick it over to dinner scene which I look forward to because I get candy and I think thats it. There’s more running around , more running around, more running around and we have the scene where everyone is “frozen” and a good bit of singing before the final scene.
AND NOW FOR YOUR FINAL PART OF THE SHOW MUTHERFUKIN FLOORSHOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Everyones corset, heels, garters were all on point everything was all shiny and fantastic. Once everyone did their individual floor show we bring it in to javie. Just seeing the kid on center stage owning the scene was awesome, I mean it all came to the focal point of him playing this part and damnit he did a great job. Once he took his scene all the other cast members came in for floowshow. KICKS, KICKS FOR DAYS all of the excitement and joy that I feel radiating from the crowd and the cast was electrifying. We close up with gus coming in with just a purple robe and a lazer to kill the mood( see what I did there) he ended up taking out javie, ali, and fleep which blows but oh well. As the castle blew away into the sky we end on superheros which is a favorite to do because crawling on audience.

Oh man, were you unsure if there was a show on this date? Because there was TOTALLY a show on this date! And people performed at this show! Here are those people!
Frank – Jenny!
Janet – Heather
Brad – Gus
Riff Raff – Jon
Magenta – Manda
Columbia – Ali
Dr. Scott – Peeeeeeeeete
Rocky – Fleep
Eddie – Cody
Crimmie – Sean
Transies – Ace, Baldwin, Brooklyn, Kyle, Javier, Jessi, Mason, Tana
Floorwalkers – Jason, Alex, Philbanker, Cody
Tech, etc – Sara, Jennifer, Danny, others listed above!
The weather was pretty neat, so we were able to hang out before the show and sparkle and smoke! We had our usual dance party, because dance parties are cool, and shiny pants girl did some ass moves of a twerking nature! After we cleared the stage, Jason and Alex did their preshow nonsense, what with the jokes and the rules and the very important things being said with the safety and the throwing. Leah came up to make us all excited about shows and talk to you about social media! Which you all love!
Gus loves virgins! Okay, Gus loves meat and weiners, but he loves virgins for the purpose of the next part, which is when he made them play a game! They were released into the wild to find the most interesting thing to take a picture of. Brooklyn’s tits were on the menu, which means Philbanker was asleep somewhere, but it was the one who found two boys kissing (Jon and…Fleep?) who won the grand prize, a framed photo of hot dogs.
THE SHOW HAPPENED! Like, not just the stuff I already mentioned, but the part where the movie starts and some assholes stand in front of it and block the bottom of the screen sometimes. You had Ali as a terrifyingly glittery Columbia. Look at those photos! So much glitter, and at any point, it might get on you! Nooooooo! Also we had Gus being…an asshole. Wait, he was playing Brad too? Well how about that? Heather was dishing out a combination of coquettishness and crazy Muppet faces that give all the most confused of boners. And here comes Peeeeeeeete! Say it at home, it’s really fun.
Do you like Jenny? Cause she was damn sure there and damn sure Frank and damn sure panties. JonMandaCody were RiffMaggiEddie and six fists of justice! Everything else that happened was there as well, all laid out chronologically because America.
Come back February 20th for a special show at the Ridglea in Fort Worth, and come back again February 27th for a regular (which is code for special) show at the Inwood in Dallas.

So the Bastards, as we are wont to do, decided to throw a goddamn party. And this time, instead of getting the Corcoran brothers drunk and allowing them to fall off of rooftops and seeing what object Brooklyn (hi, me) sets her sights on to destroy that particular evening in the quiet privacy of Bastard Manor, we decided to invite the Rocky Horror community to visit Dallas for an unconventional convention. The visitors came from such exotic places as “New Jersey” and “San Diego,” and they came prepared to party; with all the liquor, riding crops, and discretionary spending required to paint Dallas red.
We took our visitors to our favorite haunts- including two karaoke bars (where Gus performed his fantastically feminine rendition of Total Eclipse of the Heart) (I may have drunkenly done an interpretive dance that brought that particular gay bar down) (we very much confused the Thursday night regulars as to why their normal empty bar was wall-to-wall full of the loud, drunken, lovers-of-attention that all Rocky folk are) (it was delicious), every taqueria known to man at all hours of the night, the Stockyards, the Perot (that’s a museum, get some culture), the place where JFK got it through his head that he wasn’t welcome in Dallas, a CVS, and HOLY GOOD GODDAMN WHATABURGER. For the record- upwards of five visitors reported that it was definitively better than In-N-Out. Suck it, California.
We gave them every comfort of southern hospitality- spaghetti for breakfast one day, tequila and donuts on another (which, hilariously, got party crashed by Dallas socialites because a popular Instagram thought it was a public event and promoted it- check out @dallassocial’s recent posts) (we’ve never had so many women dressed for brunch around us at once) (at least when we’re not approaching them for investment opportunities and empty promises), we allowed them into our homes, we drove them everywhere they needed to go, distributed cigarettes, and even allowed them to bite us if they requested (true story, it’s been a week and the marks STILL haven’t gone away) (it was delicious).
AND THEN we got to perform for those beautiful fucks.

This show was an absolute BLAST. We had the best floorwalkers in the nation visiting, so if you weren’t there and enjoy callbacks- you missed out on the best laughs you’ll have at a Rocky show until RKOCon2 (tickets available at http://www.rkocon.com/). We pulled out all of our tricks, including our basketfuls of glitter and splendor and sex and violence and whips and chains that LB is known for.
During our preshow, Jason and Alex led both our regular crowd and our special visitors through our special rules. But, yknow, fuck em. Moving on.
Virgin Games was hosted by myself, with my lovely assistants Heather and Jessi, and it was a combination of Gay Chicken, and Blow the Virgin. I used our virgins as tools to give our visitors even more hospitality, a chance to further their induction into our world by giving them a kiss, a blow, and a show. Our special visitors received nothing but pleasure, and our virgins nothing but cheap shitty prizes. C’est la vie.
When the actual show began, it was an absolute slaughter of fabulous. If you’ve been to an LB show, you know what our boys and girls can do. But nearly EVERYone (looking at you, the-two-I-won’t-name-who-were-responsible-for-a-certain-something-being-upside-down) made this show an absolute PARTY for our guests.
I can talk about the details of the show. I can tell you how Heather and Cody absolutely ROCKED the lift. I can tell you how amazing it was to hear the crowd riot when Pete revealed his full-body lace catsuit as Doctor Scott. I can tell you about how we all mutually exploded when we placed Magic Dance during Rocky’s birth.
But I’ll say this, because I have dumb feelings: Rocky isn’t about the glitter. Rocky isn’t about Don’t Dream It, Be It. Rocky Horror Picture Show is about every single person in that audience that wants an experience. For some visitors, it’s to look at Frank (and God, isn’t Jenny just the best to look at?), for others, it’s to enjoy the crude humor (and aren’t our floorwalkers fantastic?), and for most, it’s to spend some time in a church, being in a place where you can be yourself, and celebrate the world this film (if you can call it that) has given you.
And we all got to worship together. Virgins, veterans, visitors, and us. Damn fine show.
To 40 more years.

Show Report: November 28th 2015 (Thanksgiving show!)

by Jason

Rain, cold, family…none of those things can stop Los Bastardos from putting on a damn show! Outside was a wet chilly wasteland, but inside the Inwood it was a delightfully toasty evening filled with good times and libations. So…naked people boozing it up and touching each other! The way the Pilgrims intended! Thanks, Squanto!

Before we begin, here’s the lineup:

Frank n Furter: Beau

Janet: Kyle

Brad: Ali

Riff Raff: Jon

Magenta: Jenny!

Columbia: Biondini

Dr. Scott: Pete

Rocky: Fleep

Eddie: Cody

Criminologist: Gus

Transies: Ace, Haley, Heather, Henry, Javier, Jessi, Manda, Mason, Rex, Tana

Floorwalkers: Jason, Phil, Cody

Tech/Sound/Props/Etc: Phil, Sara, Danny, Joe, Wolf, Cody, Gus, Ace, Eris, Paul

It being a holiday show we had some people out, but like a Hydra, we always have a couple more heads to grow out and put on some panties. And much like the holidays, some old familiar faces showed up! First and foremost, Beau made his first appearance as Frank on an LB stage since 2009! Back when people were playing Playstation 2! He rocked faces as Frank, while still managing to be gross. Which makes Danny gross, because Danny was ALL UP in his business leading up into floor show. Shudder. We also had Biondini back from hiatus to step into Columbia’s blue socks once more! Check out some of the faces she was making all night, it’s pretty much the best. We also had an appearance from The Cody Show, not only whipping the audience into a frenzy all night, but Eddie’ing up and thrusting Biondini into the air for yet another amazing lift! He can hold her up there for six hours, it’s true. And last but not lease…well, it wasn’t a return but it was a debut: Fleep as Rocky! And seriously, no one would have been able to guess that it was his first time on stage, because he nailed it. And got nailed…by KYLE!Kyle is a great Janet, and not only did she make her debut doing virgin games (and facilitating Jon getting his nipples and entire chest licked thoroughly by a great virgin), but she’s an adorable (and violent) Janet. She flipped Fleep over 180 degrees and pounded the everloving SHIT out of him in the tank during Toucha. But it was okay, because then during Superheroes, she flipped herself over 360 degrees while crawling over a very lucky audience member, and then had to grab a throw pillow to cover her shame pillows. And he probably needed one of his own to cover his shame boner. Kyle and Ali also make for an adorkable Brad and Janet combo, which pairs nicely with the sexy ginger Riff and Maggie combo of Jon and Jenny. Jenny doesn’t get to be Magenta as often as we’d all like (aka, daily), but her and her Venus Flytrap lashes were in full bloom and many panties were moistened on that day. Pete did yeoman’s work as Dr Scott, and Gussie was once more teleporting Crimmie, and no one will ever understand how he gets into position for the final scene of the movie. NO ONE. Enjoy the photos from this show, and join us next time at the Inwood – December 26th for some Boxing Day fun!

The dust has settled, two weeks have passed and I’ve finally managed to muster the required give-a-shit to write a show report for the Halloween shows! What can be said, really: we sold the Inwood out two nights in a row, the weather held up long enough for us to be mostly dry (to start the shows at least), and the crowd was good and drunk and rowdy, just like we like ’em.
This year’s pre-shows featured guys getting lap dances from other guys, Gus and Fleep overlooking the gorgeous Kyle to cornhole each other on stage, and two damn fine zombies eviscerated some rube in a top hat on stage.
One of the unforeseen difficulties of sold out Halloween shows is the logistics of running a costume contest with a sold out show. Golly, lots of people came in costume, who knew! We need to find a way to winnow that crowd down a little next year. Maybe we could just institute “Tits To Win” from the get-go. Or throw down a handful of weapons and let nature take its course. Either way, it still went great and lots of contestants went home with “valuable” prizes!
Highlights from Friday’s show include Kyle returning for the first time in a long time as Janet! She’s a precious perfect cinnamon roll and we’re lucky to have her around. We were also graced with a visit from Bastard alum Squid back home from the wild and wooly northlands! He jumped on stage to transie for us and even joined in on a little Snow rape with Danny in the tank. What better way to celebrate coming back to Texas!

Oh, and that rube from earlier made his debut as Riff. He’s alright.

Saturday night saw the prodigal Baldwin return as Rocky! We haven’t seen his glorious golden ass in too long. Johnny Fuckin’ Felder made a once in a blue moon appearance as he is wont to do. All that swooning and fainting Jessi did? That’s not acting, she’s just reacting to Johnny. But goodness, who doesn’t act that way!

We’ll be back at the Inwood on November 28 for our post-Thanksgiving show! Bail on your awful families, shake off that turkey coma and come shindig with us!

The State of Texas should be paying us to perform at the Ridglea for drought alleviation at this rate. It seems like it comes a downpour every time we’re there, and last Friday was no different. Getting in the theater offered no respite from the rain however as Los Bastardos is guaranteed to get you just as wet!
One of the biggest crowd’s we’ve ever had filled the historic Ridglea Theater and got real loud, rowdy and drunk just in time for LB and the beautiful girls of Glitterati Revue do their thing. After the burlesque show LB took the stage for “It’s Not Gay if it’s a 3-Way,” where Gus and Fleep dragged poor Kyle on stage in a futile effort to stave off their eventual slide into full blown homosexuality. It’s ok, fellas, it’s legal in Texas now.
One of the highlights of the show for me personally was Megaaaan as Janet. If you watch the show often enough as we do, you start to realize something: Janet is kind of a ditzy meathead. Megaaan is very much not a ditzy meathead. She’s naturally a great Magenta and Brad, but watching her play Janet is exceedingly entertaining.
Bummed you missed out on the Ridglea show? Well you’re in luck: we’re coming home to the Inwood Theater this Friday and Saturday night at in Dallas for our back to back Halloween shows! It’s like Super Bowl Sunday for Rocky Horror, but with a lot less clothing! Get your tickets now, because we fully plan to sell this sucker out!

We’re getting a head start on our annual autumn extravaganza with back-to-back shows before our big cast trip to New York City! Your favorite Bastards took over the Ridglea Theater on Friday night to a loud and rowdy Fort Worth crowd. Friday’s show marked the debut of Mason as Brad! Mason’s been grinding away as a transie for several months while working on Brad, and he finally got a shot to put his furry asshole on display Friday night. You made us proud, son!
Gus kicked off the festivities with an… interesting virgin game, in which four lucky noobs fought to see who could suck the cream out of a Twinkie (held at crotch height by Bastards, of course) without completely wrecking the cake part. One rather skilled homosexual won and kept sucking long after the cream was gone. That’s a rare kind of work ethic you want to reward.
Another highlight of the Friday show was the return of beloved cast member Cody as Eddie! Cody is pretty much all voice, muscle and energy, so watching him perform is a delight. He probably could have kept the lift going all night, but luckily for Brooklyn he didn’t.
On Saturday night we had a special surprise for our loyal audience back at the Inwood Theater in Dallas. Bucket, one of our dear friends from Austin-based cast Queerios, dropped in for the weekend to play Janet for us! We don’t get a lot of guest performers (probably because Texas is huge) so we relished the opportunity. She did great and we hope she returns!
In one of the biggest surprises I’ve seen in a while, Madame Leah jumped in at the last minute to play Eddie. Now, keep in mind that the usual people who play Eddie are tall, stout folk. Leah is neither of those things. The highlight of the evening was watching Brooklyn’s face as she alternated between Leah-lust and cracking up from watching the Eddie jacket envelop Leah like a magician’s cape. Luckily transie Ace stepped in for the lift, sparing Leah’s delicate, bird-like bones.
As I’m posting this, a big chunk of our cast is in New York City for the 40th anniversary Rocky Horror Picture Show convention, with more joining them throughout the weekend! We’ll have pictures up from that later. We’ll be back home next week and gearing up for Rocky Christmas: better known as Halloween! Check our Facebook page for more information on upcoming shows!

Wow, that show was so great, it took weeks to write about it! That’s how we roll in LB: we’re procrastilicious!

Our Inwood show on August 22 was dedicated to one of our loyal fans, Izzy! Izzy’s had a rough time of it lately, following a liver transplant made necessary by Wilson’s disease. She’s been coming to the show with her family for a long time, and her folks came up to us and asked if we could help her out any. We live in America and as such life-saving medical procedures cost money, and they asked if we’d be willing to help raise some cash to help defray the costs.

Contrary to what you might have heard, Los Bastardos isn’t exclusively made up of heartless monsters, so we jumped at the chance to help a fan because that’s what family does, damn it. Izzy’s mom put on a extra-special belly dance performance before we kicked our show off, and we donated our profits for the evening to Izzy’s care fund. She’s a sweet kid, a skilled cosplayer and devoted fan, so if you’ve got the cash to spare swing on over to Izzy’s page at http://www.cotaforisobelt.com/ or look up “A Liver for Izzy” on Facebook!

What was the other big news for the Aug. 22 show? JOHNNY FUCKIN’ FELDER, that’s what. Yes, the man so loved by Los Bastardos it’s practically a meme at this point returned for the first time in many many moons to play everyone’s favorite asshole, Brad. That sound you were hearing during floorshow was panties throughout the theater being ripped off and flung in the general direction of the stage (and probably some man-ties too, because Rocky).

Other people were there too! Jenny was Frank and was perfect! Jessi was Janet and was adorable! Gus creeped around as Riff and Manda played the hottest domestic this side of Transylvania. Super Sexy Sean came back as Rocky, Pete played everyone’s favorite rock-and-roll zombie Eddit and the ever-talented Ali took time out of her incredibly busy schedule to play Columbia!

Making his stage debut (at least I think it’s his debut, watch this space for Leah yelling at me to fix it) was Joe as Dr. Scott! Joe spends most of his time sitting behind our lightboard, when he’s not driving across the country or building new stuff for us in his garage. What a stand-up guy! Well, what a sit-down guy, in this case. You know, because Dr. Scott.

Anyway, we’ve got a lot of stuff coming up soon! We’ve got a show at the beautiful Ridglea Theater on Sept. 18, followed by a show at the Inwood on Sept. 19! The week after we’re packing our bags and headed to wreck NYC with our drunken shenanigans at the 40th Rocky Horror Convention! Will we survive? Stay tuned and find out!

Take the loud, rowdy and likely hammered crowd from last week at the Texas Theatre and multiply it several times over, and you’d have something approximating the screaming hordes that filled the Ridglea Theatre on Aug. 8. What a show! What a crowd! What a great venue to watch us in and get summarily drunk!

We always try to bring a little bit extra to the Ridglea, it being such a classy joint and all. Luckily the lovely ladies of the Glitterati Revue joined us to open the show with several burlesque acts for your enjoyment. It’s like stripping, but way classier. Especially when you’re wearing nothing but pasties and a monocle. (Note: I don’t know if this has been done or not, but if it hasn’t, you’re welcome ladies)

LB kicked off our show with a set of pre-shows both old and new, including Baldwin doing “Jizz in my Pants,” Leah and several other cast gentlemen doing “Call Me Maybe,” several lovely cast ladies surrounding Pete for “Peacock,” and unfortunately the return of “Soccer Practice,” this time with Mason playing the part of the poor straight man falling to Sean the Gay Pimp’s clutches. It wasn’t me this time, so I consider it a success!

This week’s Virgin games was “Fuck Like a Bastard,” in which virgins race Bastards to see who could pop balloons with their hideous pelvic gyrations. The Bastards won (naturally) but we gave prizes to the virgins anyway because, well, Jason brought a bigass can of yams and he didn’t want to take it home.

Performing in the Ridglea is always unique, because the staff there treats us like rockstars. We, in turn, do our best to put on a rock star show, and our cast did not disappoint. Everyone was on point this week, especially our newest Janet, Jessi. She really knocked us out of our seat! Well, not us, some other guy. I think he’s okay, because there’s many worse things that can happen to you than getting knocked to the floor by a pretty young lady.

Other things happened as well! Brooklyn did the lift! Sean carried Jenny legs first for death scene! People laughed at my Mad Max reference! One of the really hot Transies took her pants off! This is just a sampling of the fun you missed out on! But don’t fret, we’re coming back to Dallas for our Aug. 22 show at the Inwood Theatre!

Los Bastardos: same great taste, less filling.
