Los Bastardos, despite all pretenses, do have hearts buried deep below all of our grumps. And occasionally, we like to support causes for genuinely good people and organizations.
For our show at the Inwood tomorrow, it will be dedicated to beautiful Izzy.
Izzy is a young and stunning girl, recently diagnosed with Wilson’s Disease, and as a result had to have a liver transplant about a month ago. As anyone who has tried to buy body parts on the deep web knows, organs and all their medical expenses aren’t cheap. Izzy’s family is now burdened with the cost of her bills, and have launched a campaign to help alleviate some of that burden.
Tomorrow night, be sure to bring any spare change to help them with that cost. We will be accepting donations, sharing our prop pack/glowstick/boss tattoo/general delicious Rocky Horror goody profit with them, and we’re doing our best to sell as many seats as possible to help Izzy and her family with everything they could need.
